So we’ve all heard the scoop that skinny jeans are making their way out. Personally I don’t see them going away but I do think it’s ok to try something new as long as you find good options that are flattering and make you feel your best! I decided to order a crap ton of non-skinny jeans, weed through the duds, and show you the ones that I think might work for you depending on what you are looking for. Styles are mostly boyfriend fit, slim fit and more relaxed Mom jeans, distressed, and non distressed. Prices range from $18-$89 and are from American Eagle, Walmart, Old Navy, and Kut from the Kloth. I’ll give a quick review and fit tips under each pic. I’ll also have a reels video clip that shows all the pairs going up on Instagram shortly so keep an eye out there! My size in jeans these days is a 10 for reference. Some pairs may have limited sizes so be sure to follow me on my Facebook Page as I will be sure to post restocks there! For the sake of consistency I wore the same top and shoes with each pair. These are the shoes. You may have to type in "foreseen" for the style to come up. I typ wear shoe size 8.5-9 and I am wearing the 9's. My top is in and out of stock. I wear it in size L. And here we go…

AE Tomgirl Jean - Medium Destroy // #1 These are a relaxed, chill, non distressed jean. Lower rise, slouchy, cotton with no stretch. These might be a bit too slouchy for me personally but I think it depends on the look you are going for. FIT TIP: TTS. I ordered a size up because at AE I sometimes have to size up, but I think I would have been fine TTS as I have room in these.

AE Mom Jean - Cool Classic // #2 These are a higher waisted true Mom Jean. They have a comfort stretch waist band and are a relaxed slouchy fit. No stretch in the leg. They have nicely placed holes at the knees. I really like this pair as I’m a distressed jeans gal and with the slouchier fit, they are really quite comfy compared to skinnies. FIT TIP: TTS

Kut from the Kloth Lauren Crop // #3 Sizes are getting limited in my color but this color is in stock. This pair has a much slimmer leg than the above two pairs. No distressing either. If you are on the shorter side, I think you will like these. Some cropped jeans aren’t short enough but these are a nice short crop. They have stretch and a mid rise. Very flattering on the leg. Kut makes great jeans so you get what you pay for here. FIT TIP: TTS.

Kut from the Kloth Elizabeth Crop // #4 These are cropped but if you are on the shorter side I’d pass as they will be too long on you. I am 5’7” and I love the slightly cropped length on me. I actually really love these jeans. They are a great quality and have a similar relaxed vibe to the AE pair #1 but is less full in the leg and are very comfortable. They have no distressing in the front but the back hem near ankle has a fun pop of distressing. FIT TIP: Size down if in between.

Walmart No Boundaries Mom Jeans - Medium Wash // #5 Ok this pair and the next pair are legit $18 at Walmart. I LOVE them! If you are new to Mom jeans, these should be what you try. Super flattering, nice big knee holes, high rise, and just look great on! FIT TIP: Don’t get stuck on a number here. These are junior sizing. You will NEED to size up one from your adult/missy size in order for these to fit. Reviewers say the black runs even smaller so keep that in mind. Get the size right here and you’ll want all the colors! Cut the label out if you don’t like the #. No one gives a shit though I promise. ;)

Walmart No Boundaries Mom Jeans - light wash // #6 Ok this pair is the same pair as the above but in a lighter wash and again only $18 at Walmart. Let me tell you…this wash with a sweet tan on your legs, and you’ll be a smoke show! FIT TIP: Don’t get stuck on a number here. These are junior sizing. You will NEED to size up one from your adult/missy size in order for these to fit. Reviewers say the black runs even smaller so keep that in mind. Get the size right here and you’ll want all the colors! Cut the label out if you don’t like the #. Again, no one gives a shit I promise. ;)

Old Navy Mid Rise Boyfriend cut offs // #7 These are a great non distressed, mid rise, not too light, not too dark pair of jeans. Very comfortable. These would be a great option for a dress down Friday at work as you can easily dress this refined pair up or wear more casually. These will work great for those that have a shorter torso and don’t do so well with a higher rise. FIT TIP: TTS.

Old Navy Mid Rise Boyfriend // #8 These are a not so slouchy distressed option. Looks nice rolled or unrolled at the hem. The holes aren’t too open as well. Mid rise here so also a great option for those that don’t like a higher rise. FIT TIP: TTS, or size up if in between. These felt a smidge snugger than the above pair.
